Happy November, friends!

Have you taken a moment recently to really count your blessings?  What are you truly grateful for?

I ask this because life gets busy, and more often than not, the idea of pausing to be thankful gets forgotten. But with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought it’d be the perfect time to talk about the importance of gratitude and how to implement it daily.

There are so many benefits of expressing gratitude on a daily basis. It can help reduce stress, increase optimism and even shift your mindset to be more positive. Now tell me, do you personally see a change in your mood when you take a moment to practice gratitude?

To make this a habit, here is a daily exercise you can do:

  • Establish a time when you will practice gratitude (i.e., when you wake up, before eating a meal, or before bed).
  • Every day, think of 3 things you are grateful for.
  • Start a gratitude journal and write down these three things.
Don’t forget to express your gratitude towards others too. Tell the people in your life how you feel and what they mean to you through words or acts of kindness.

Also, if you’re interested in learning how coaching works, I’d love to set up 30 minutes to chat! Just click here and let's talk about it.

In gratitude,
