Grappling With Guilt?
Each day it seems there’s something new on the to-do list—another chore, another bill to pay, another project at work. With so many responsibilities piled on us, it’s no wonder that people feel guilty when they take time for themselves.

Are you one of those people? If so, you’re not alone.

If we’re not careful, guilt can cause us to go down a rabbit hole of grief, stress, and shame. Guilt tricks us into believing that we aren’t deserving of fun or even capable of relaxation in the first place.

DO NOT fall for this! You DESERVE to have a good time!

Take the guilt out of having fun by following these three steps for planning some leisure time:

  1. Determine what you are passionate about.
  2. Decide when you will schedule time to do this activity.
  3. Commit to this plan. (Regularly set aside time for this hobby/interest.)
If you do this, you’ll find more purpose in having fun. Rather than a “waste of time,” you’ll find it to be a refreshing activity that even has the potential to increase your productivity.

Give this a try and let me know how it goes. I can’t wait to hear about your fun experiences!
